Queen Anne’s County Fireworks & Family Celebration

July 4, 2023

The Queen Anne’s County Annual Fireworks, scheduled for July 4, 2023, will take place at the parking area of the “old outlets” on 59 Piney Narrows Road, providing clear visibility from the Kent Narrows and nearby areas. The event opens at 5:00 pm, with fireworks starting at 9:20 pm. Enjoy the festivities with a DJ providing music and food trucks offering delicious options for purchase.

St. Michaels Big Band Night & Fireworks

July 1, 2023

Celebrate Independence Day on July 1st at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s Big Band Night. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets for an enjoyable evening of music, dancing, and fireworks along the Miles River. The Shades of Blue Orchestra will perform starting at 7 pm, while CBMM’s waterfront campus offers a great view of the St. Michaels fireworks at dusk. In case of bad weather, the event has a rain date on July 2. Food, ice cream, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, courtesy of Eastern Shore Tents & Events. CBMM’s Welcome Center opens at 6 pm, and admission is $6 for members, $10 for non-members, with free entry for children aged 5 and under, as well as active and retired military personnel.

Salisbury’s Red, White, and Boom Event

July 4, 2023

Celebrate the Fourth of July at James M. Bennett High School in Salisbury, Maryland, where an exciting event awaits. Enjoy a fantastic evening filled with delectable food vendors, entertaining performances, and a captivating fireworks display. The gates open at 6:30, giving you ample time to find the perfect spot to settle in. As the clock approaches 9:15, the sky will come alive with a breathtaking fireworks show. Don’t forget to bring your blankets and lawn chairs.

Ocean City’s Independence Day Celebrations

July 2 & 4, 2023

July 2nd: Sundae’s in the Park Independence Day Celebration Celebrate Independence Day at Northside Park during Ocean City’s Sundae’s in the Park Concert series. Sundae’s in the Park will feature a 7 p.m. concert by Chris Sacks Band “Tropicana Rock” and an intimate firework show at 9 p.m.

July 4th: Downtown on the Beach & Uptown at Northside Park Celebrate the Nation’s birthday with music and fireworks at two locations in Ocean City. Downtown at N. Division St. Beach, enjoy a free music celebration on the Caroline St. Stage, followed by a magnificent fireworks display over the ocean. Remember to bring your beach chair or blanket and arrive early to secure a good spot. Uptown at Northside Park, 125th St., the festivities kick off with a free music celebration, culminating in a spectacular fireworks show. Again, bring your beach chair or blanket and arrive early. Please note that parking is limited throughout town, so consider taking the bus or utilizing the West OC Park & Ride for convenience.
