David has spent the past 35 years locally as a sales associate, broker, and real estate appraiser. As such, he brings forth a wealth of knowledge to meet all of your real estate needs.

David has a degree in Economics from Washington College, an MBA from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, and a GRI designation from the National Association of Realtors. He holds the highest (Certified General) real estate appraisal licenses in both Maryland and Delaware.

His appraisal work specialized in Eastern Shore farms, hunting properties,s and tracts of woodland. It is estimated that his firm has appraised more than 10,000 properties totaling over 1 million acres! In doing so, they have set many milestones including appraising: Maryland’s largest private parcel, the Foster Tract at 4,241 acres; Maryland’s largest private property, Tudor Farms at 6,250 acres; and Maryland’s largest conservation easement, Grasslands Plantation at 5,400 acres. David considers his valuation skills and the personal database that he has amassed extremely useful in understanding the value of Eastern Shore properties.

David is a member of Maryland’s Farm Bureau and has strong ties to the ag community. He has testified numerous times “pro bono” on behalf of farmers and landowners at both the State and County levels. He is particularly interested in Maryland’s “Next Generation” farm purchasing program. A program that was reinitiated following concerns that he voiced to Maryland’s Secretary of Planning while participating in Wicomico County’s Septic Tier workshop. Farmland in Maryland has become very expensive creating a significant obstacle for young farmers trying to enter the industry. David is committed to helping young farmers overcome this obstacle, as he is well aware that owning your own farm is truly a life-changing event!

David resides at Easton Club East, with his wife Wendy. Young at heart, David enjoys nothing more than an opportunity to horseplay with his grandchildren!

David works out of our 24 N Washington Street office in Easton, 410-770-9255. He can be reached directly at 410-310-5020 or by email at [email protected].
