Frances Maffitt
|
Frances is an Associate Broker and has over 20
years experience. She began her Real Estate career
in Baltimore City and has been practicing on the
Eastern Shore for 19 years. She is a graduate of
Salem College in Winston-Salem NC, and had a career
in chemical research before becoming a full-time
Realtor.
Frances has served on the Board of Directors of
the Waterfowl Festival, the Mid-Shore Board of
Realtors, the Talbot Country Club, and is presently
a Board Member of Hospice Foundation of Talbot
County. She has served as a volunteer at Christmas
in St. Michaels and Christ Episcopal Church St.
Michaels.
Frances has been active in the Mid-Shore Board of
Realtors, serving as a Director and as Chairwoman
of the Professional Standards Committee and the
Education Committee. She is a designee of the
Graduate Realtor Institute and a past recipient of
the Talbot County Realtor of the Year Award.
Besides community volunteer work, Frances enjoys
playing golf, traveling, cooking, and especially
enjoys her wonderful family. Frances is married
to Jim Maffitt, a local lawyer, and they have four
daughters and six grandchildren. She can be
