About Duane Hilghman
Prior to real estate, Duane’s professional career was in the trucking industry for over 40 years, where he specialized in customer service. An avid photographer, he co-founded Horizon Photography in 1981 which is still in business today.
A US Army veteran, Duane remains committed to community service. He founded the Bonnie Hilghman Cancer Fund, which is a component fund of the Mid Shore Community Foundation. The Fund offers financial aid to residents of the Mid-Shore who are battling cancer and are in need of assistance. He has been involved with many other civic and fraternal organizations in the community, including serving as a volunteer fireman and EMT for 18 years. He currently serves on the Affordable Housing board for the town of Easton.
Duane is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Maryland Association of Realtors and the Mid-Shore Board of Realtors, where he serves on the Board of Directors and the Government Affairs committee. He was honored as the 2015 “Rookie of the Year” for the Mid Shore Board of Realtors. He is passionate about customer service and considers the responsibility of helping a client to either sell or buy real estate to be paramount.
A lifelong native of the Eastern Shore, Duane makes his home in Easton with his wife Nadine, where they truly enjoy residing in “the land of pleasant living”.
